Before & After Care

For the 2023-24 school year, Oak Meadow offers Before and After Care outside of our regular school hours as follows:

Before Care
Before Care is available for CH through UE and can be used on a “walk-in” basis, no registration is required.

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 8:20am – $10/day
  • Siblings of BG or MS students are free of charge.

After Care
After Care can be used on a “walk-in” basis for CH-MS, no registration is required, although, if you know ahead of time that you will be using After Care, we encourage you to email the Director of Auxiliary Programs, Antonella Fuchser, as well as your classroom teacher.

    –>BG families MUST email Antonella Fuchser, as well as the classroom teacher  24 hours in advance.

  • Monday – Thursday: 3:30 – 4:30pm – $15/day or 3:30 – 6:00pm – $25/day
  • Early Dismissal Friday: 2:30 – 3:30pm – $15/day or 2:30 – 5:00pm – $25/day

In addition to our After Care Program, Oak Meadow offers an After-School Enrichment Program  at the end of the school day— click here to learn more. Complimentary After Care can be provided for up to 30 minutes when used in conjunction with an Enrichment class. Beyond 30 minutes, there is an additional fee of $10.

Otter Days

Themed Otter Days provide a valuable, full day, child care option for Oak Meadow parents on days that school is not in session. Lots of fun themes are planned for each session!

Age-appropriate activities include:

  • Art and crafts – The recognition of shapes, counting, sorting, measuring, creativity, and problem-solving all help in the development of math skills.
  • Physical activity – In addition to developing coordination and motor skills, physical exercise is linked to cognitive development, physical health, and independence.
  • Social time with peers – Socializing with other children aids in the healthy development of social emotional skills, helps to develop language skills, encourages imaginative play and creativity, and builds self-confidence.

For all program levels, 8:30am to 3:30pm

BG  Half Day:  8:30 am – 11:45 am
BG  Full Day: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Aftercare is available until 5:00 pm)
CH-UE   Full Day: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Aftercare is available until 5:00 pm)

No before care 

Cost:

  • BG Half Day: $55/day
  • Full Day: $110/day (includes craft materials)
  • After Care (3:30-5:00pm): $20, ($1/min. late fee)

Otter Days are available on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, January 16, 2024
  • Winter Break Otter Days – February 20-23 – Winter Wonderland
  • Spring Break Otter Days – April 16-19 – Spring Beauty
  • May Conference Days – May 23 and May 24 – Theme to be announced
