What is the Work of Heart Gala?
The Work of Heart Gala is Oak Meadow Montessori School’s signature annual fundraising event, bringing together our school community and supporters for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and generosity. All proceeds benefit our students and school programs.

When and where is the event?
The gala takes place on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 7:00–10:00 PM at Oak Meadow Montessori School.

Is this event open to the public or just school families?
The gala is open to the public! We welcome school families, alumni, and community members who want to support our mission.

How much do tickets cost?
Early bird tickets are $80 per person through March 31. Starting April 1, tickets increase to $100 per person. We encourage you to purchase early!

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online or by contacting us at info@oakmeadow.org.

Are children welcome, or is this an adults-only event?
The Work of Heart Gala is an adults-only event. We hope you’ll enjoy a fun night out!

Can I buy tickets at the door?
We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee your spot. Subject to availability, tickets may be available at the door for $100.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. Full refunds are available for cancellations made on or before April 24, 2026. No refunds will be issued after that date. However, tickets are fully transferable — if you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to another guest. Please notify us of any transfers at info@oakmeadow.org.

What is the dress code?
Festive cocktail attire is requested. Think elegant but comfortable — it’s going to be a fun night!

What time do doors open?
Doors open at 7:00 PM.

What is the schedule for the evening?
The evening will include an open beer and wine bar, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, live auction, raffles, a photo booth, and dancing. A full schedule will be shared closer to the event.

Will there be food and drinks provided?
Yes! We’ll have hors d’oeuvres and an open beer and wine bar throughout the evening.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, free on-site parking is available at Oak Meadow Montessori School.

How will funds raised support the school?
Funds raised at the Work of Heart Gala directly support Oak Meadow Montessori School’s programs, resources, and community initiatives for all students school-wide.

Will there be a silent auction, live auction, or raffle?
Yes to all three! Come ready to bid and try your luck.

Can I make a donation if I’m unable to attend?
Absolutely! We gratefully accept donations from those who can’t make it in person. Please explore our event page to learn how to contribute.

Are donations tax-deductible?
Oak Meadow Montessori School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Will student artwork or performances be featured?
Yes! The live auction will feature collaborative pieces from each of the classrooms. For instance, the Sugar Maple and Willow rooms will each have a collaborative piece of art during the live auction. Every child in the classroom has participated in the creation of their classroom artwork!

How can my child get involved?
All children currently attending Oak Meadow will be involved in the Work of Heart event!

Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities?
Yes! There are designated handicap accessible spots in the parking lots, accessible bathrooms, and the venue is ground level.
