

In Bern, Switzerland, Antonella received her Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten Diploma, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Trained Patissier and Baker, Professional School for Home Economics, and Commercial Education. She received her International Montessori Teaching Diploma Elementary l (6-9) from North American Montessori Center. Prior to Oak Meadow, Antonella worked as a Waldorf Kindergarten Teacher in Aarau, Switzerland, and as an educator at a school for special training in Bern, Switzerland. Antonella came to Oak Meadow in 2004 and has worked as an assistant in both Children’s House and Lower Elementary, eventually also coordinating child care and the Summer Program. She is now comfortably settled into the role of Director of Auxiliary Programs. She enjoys working at Oak Meadow because it is a safe and happy place to be. “I call it my family. We are able to care for and support each other as a school community. Oak Meadow is an environment where I feel appreciated, important and have the opportunity to learn, grow and challenge myself.” Outside of working, Antonella enjoys doing all kinds of projects in and around her house. She never finds herself bored!
