Drop Everything And Read! Originating from a reference in the book “Ramona Quimby, Age 8,” by Beverly Cleary, this national celebration will be celebrated in Children’s House, Lower El, Upper El, and Middle School. Students typically come to school dressed in comfort clothes or pajamas and enjoy self-directed reading or reading activities for part of the day. Please watch for communications from your teacher for specific information on how D.E.A.R. Day will be celebrated in your child’s classroom.
