Raena Nelson officially joins the Oak Meadow Staff and Faculty, already a seasoned member of the Oak Meadow community. She established herself as a steady force working in the After Care and Auxiliary Programs and subbing in the classrooms. She has served as Cross Country Coach and as the Coordinator for the newly launched Destination Imagination Team. In her role as Physical Education teacher, she looks forward to encouraging a positive PE culture in our community and is excited to support our students in their fitness efforts.

Raena is currently in her senior year at Fitchburg State University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science with a Clinical Exercise Physiology Concentration. In her spare time, she enjoys road trips, reading, and hiking.
