Dear Oak Meadow Families:

As I write to you for the first time in my role as Head of School, I do so with deep gratitude and a heart full of optimism for the journey ahead. It is a true honor to join this extraordinary community—one rooted in the Montessori tradition of nurturing curiosity, independence, and compassion.

I know that Oak Meadow has experienced a season of transition, and I want to acknowledge the resilience and dedication that have carried the school forward. In every conversation I’ve had so far, I have felt the depth of your commitment to this place and to one another. That spirit is a powerful foundation, and I am excited to help build upon it with steadiness, clarity, and care.

Montessori education is grounded in joy: the joy of discovery, of meaningful work, and of shared purpose. That joy will guide my leadership in the months and years to come. As we move forward together, my focus will be on ensuring consistency for our children, supporting our talented educators, and fostering strong, open communication with you.

In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to meeting many of you in person. Whether it’s at drop-off, during upcoming gatherings, or simply around campus, I hope you’ll stop and say hello.

Contact our Admission Office and make an appointment to get to know Oak Meadow Montessori School. We look forward to meeting you and your family.

Thank you for welcoming me so warmly into the Oak Meadow community. I am eager to get to work, anchored by a sense of purpose, and inspired by the joyful potential ahead.

With warmth and excitement,

Bridget Barrett-Parker
