Amy O’Sullivan joined Oak Meadow’s Nursing team in 2023. Amy brings more than 25 years of nursing experience and a deep commitment to caring for students and families.

Amy earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Quinsigamond Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies, with a concentration in Speech-Language Pathology, from Salem State University. Her nursing career has included roles in sub-acute rehabilitation, medical-surgical nursing, surgical intensive care, CT/vascular surgery, and anticoagulation care. She has been a staff nurse in Lahey Medical Center’s Anticoagulation Clinic since 2006.

Amy is also a longtime member of the Oak Meadow community—her daughter, Nora, is an Oak Meadow alum! She especially enjoys the strong sense of community at Oak Meadow and the opportunity to support the children in our care.

Outside of school, Amy loves spending time with her family and friends and, most of all, being a mom. Her family spends lots of time at their place in Meredith, New Hampshire, where they enjoy hiking, boating, swimming, exploring local shops and bookstores, and soaking up time on Lake Winnipesaukee—a place Amy has loved visiting since childhood. She also enjoys reading whenever she has downtime.

A couple of fun facts about Amy: She originally planned to become a kindergarten teacher and began college as an Early Childhood Education major before changing her major to Speech-Language Pathology. And she loves donuts! Amy enjoys discovering new donut shops wherever she travels, and so far, her favorite is Sidecar Doughnuts in Los Angeles.
