Tessa Kishbach joined Oak Meadow in September 2025 as a Naturalist, bringing with her a deep passion for environmental education and hands-on learning. Tessa also leads STEAM classes for our 3rd year Children’s House students and has developed the Otter Adventures Summer Program for our older students. Tessa’s boundless creativity and enthusiasm help students connect with the natural world in meaningful ways.
Tessa holds a Massachusetts Teaching License in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K–2), along with bachelor’s degrees in Education and Business. Her professional journey has taken her across the country, with roles as an environmental and outdoor educator in California, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Colorado, Ohio, and Maine. From leading programs at the Catalina Island Leadership Program to teaching preschool at Teton Science School, Tessa has cultivated a rich background in experiential, nature-based education.
At Oak Meadow, Tessa is especially excited to continue working with the students to enhance the school’s garden and growing the summer program, creating vibrant opportunities for exploration and discovery.
Outside of school, she enjoys hiking and reading—and caring for her pet lizard, Stanley, who never fails to spark curiosity and conversation.
