Stephen holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Lesley University. Prior to joining Oak Meadow, he worked as a teacher and naturalist at another Montessori school and was Education Coordinator at Mass Audubon for 14 years. He came to Oak Meadow in 2014 as our Naturalist and a summer program lead instructor. To Stephen, Oak Meadow means a strong, growing and nurturing community, full of spirit and imagination. He enjoys working here because it allows him to share the message of the magic of nature. Outside of teaching, he spends his time camping, practicing primitive living skills, gardening and foraging. Stephen is also a certified Permaculture Designer.
