Kirsten holds a B.S. in Education and Biology from the University of Vermont, a M.A. in Community Psychology from University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and is currently pursuing her Montessori Training certification (Montessori Elementary II Standalone) through The Center for Guided Montessori Studies in Sarasota, Florida. Prior to Oak Meadow, Kirsten worked as a Middle School Teacher at Nashoba Regional School District and North Andover, and as a Teacher of Adolescents with Autism at ASA Day School in Weston. Kirsten loves working at Oak Meadow because “children get exactly what they need to thrive as human beings and students; and that as a teacher I am part of this learning process. Very satisfying and inspiring work!” Outside of teaching, she enjoys walking, hiking, spending time with family, gardening and art. She also loves elephants as much as she loves kids!
