Navigating School Decisions During a Year of Change

To our neighbors in Acton and Boxborough,

As Acton-Boxborough Public Schools undergo significant restructuring this coming year, many families may experience a great deal of change at once with new schools, new teachers, new peer groups, and new routines.

During transitions like these, it’s natural for parents to pause and consider what their child needs to feel supported and engaged in learning.

Oak Meadow Montessori is a small, independent school serving children from 15 months through 6th grade located on the Acton/Littleton line. Our classrooms are calm, purposeful, and relationship-based, with multi-age communities where children build confidence, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. Students work at an appropriate pace, develop real responsibility for their learning, and build lasting academic foundations through hands-on, meaningful work.

We’re reaching out simply to ensure Acton and Boxborough families know Oak Meadow is an option during this time. In fact, about 25% of our current community comes from Acton, and many families share that they value the steadiness and continuity our program provides.
