There are numerous ways that our families support the mission of Oak Meadow Montessori School. Many parents volunteer their time and talents in various ways throughout the school, such as working in the library, sharing their culture in the classrooms, or participating in the Parents’ Association. Most families also make a financial contribution to the school in the form of a yearly donation to the Annual Fund. In the past few years, families and friends also gave generously to our first Capital Campaign, Our School, Our Future - The Capital Campaign For Oak Meadow Montessori School, for the construction of The Rizzi Center and renovations to our existing facility. In all, the Campaign, which is now completed,
received monetary gifts totaling $830,244 to be used for construction of the new building, and an additional gift valued at $330,000, to establish an endowment for Montessori teacher training - for a grand total of $1,160,244.
Annual Fund
In only eight short years, the Oak Meadow Montessori School Annual Fund has raised approximately $455,000. Annual giving helps close the gap between the annual cost of educating our children and the price and tuition. These contributions have helped to make possible:
- Improvements to facilities and materials for classrooms, playgrounds and community space
- Enrichment programs and new curriculum
- Additional faculty and staff training and professional development
- Expansion of financial aid for deserving students
