New Athletic & Performing Arts Center
completed in time for school opening!
For over thirty years, Oak Meadow has continually and successfully sought to improve both the quality of education it provides and the quantity of students whose lives it impacts. The School has successfully grown from its roots as a single pre-school class into a substantial school extending through eighth grade.
Oak Meadow has just completed its newest construction project that significantly enhances its educational program and strengthens our stature and leadership position within the educational community. It is an exciting time at Oak Meadow Montessori School – a time when we are reaping the rewards of an ambitious project to build facilities and educational programs that will benefit Oak Meadow students for years to come.
The project was made possible because of Our School, Our Future: The Capital Campaign for Oak Meadow.

The commitment.......
A few years ago, the Oak Meadow community spent an intensive year of institutional self-reflection and recommitted itself to maintaining the highest standards of Montessori education. The results of this process produced a comprehensive Five-Year Strategic Plan.
The goals we outlined in our Strategic Plan are nearly complete. We achieved dual accreditation by the Association of Independent Schools in New England and the American Montessori Society, giving the school the recognition that its reputation for excellence in education deserves. The Plan also called for taking bold steps to enhance our:
- performing arts and fine arts programs
- physical education program
- student support services
- sense of community
The completion of our construction project enlarges and upgrades our facilities in order to make those goals attainable. Follow link to read more about the program enhancements.
