Upper Elementary students had a great time at Minuteman National Park this week. No one let the weather get them down despite the horrible rain. We thoroughly enjoyed the presentation from our park ranger, complete in period dress, who explained the reasons for the Revolutionary War, how it took place in this area, and the effects of the battles on the soldiers. He demonstrated how the soldiers fought and treated us to two musket firings. What a fantastic place in which we live. History is everywhere.
